The Clone Apocalypse

The Clone Apocalypse

The Clone Apocalypse

Earth, A.D. 2519. The clone soldiers of the Enlisted Man’s Empire, formerly members of the Unified Authority’s powerful military, believe they have finally secured their freedom. They may not live to learn how wrong they are… After launching an unsuccessful invasion of Washington, D.C., the Unified Authority is on the verge of defeat. Then the clones intercept a message detailing the U.A.’s last ditch plan for survival: a super weapon, a virus designed to attack the clones’ internal architecture. Only one clone was created without the fatal flaw—Wayson Harris, an outlaw model with independent thoughts and an addiction to violence. As his empire collapses and his comrades die around him, Harris begins a one-man war against the government that created, betrayed and ultimately destroyed his brothers. Fighting the war becomes more difficult, however, as the rush from the constant combat has reached its peak—and is driving Harris slowly insane…

Ardamin

Ardamin

Ardamin

Set in a post apocalyptic world, Ardamin is the clone of a retired Army Colonel. He was sent on a support mission, as far as he is aware, to assist other clones trapped by aliens. Unknown to Ardamin, he is actually being sent out to be bait to capture an Alien; one of the aliens that brought about a type of Zombie Apocalypse. He is quickly captured by some humans and handed over to the aliens. In due course he is taken into the Alien base. Ardamin finds that he has fallen for one of his original captors, a human woman called Murphy. The aliens use both Murphy and his loyalty to his creators to get him to cooperate with them. Now deep with the Alien's base the human trap is sprung and Ardamin is left for dead when the humans attack the base. Under the command of Colonel Ardamin, using clone troops and help from a foreign country, an alien is captured and their human captives are freed. Now Ardamin, clone number seven, is back from the dead, changed in ways thought impossible. No longer the unwanted clone, cast aside when his purpose was achieved. Ardamin must become so much more so he can fight for his survival, fight for the woman he loves and fight for the new friends he has made.

Cancel The Apocalypse

Ever get the feeling that things are falling apart? You're not alone. From bad banks to global warming it can all look hopeless, but what if everything could turn out, well, even better than before? What if the only thing holding us back is a lack of imagination and a surplus of old orthodoxies? In fascinating and iconoclastic detail - on everything from the cash in your pocket to the food on your plate and the shape of our working lives - Cancel the Apocalypse describes how the relentless race for economic growth is not always one worth winning, how excessive materialism has come at a terrible cost to our environment, and hasn't even made us any happier in the process. Simms believes passionately in the human capacity for change, and shows how the good life remains in our grasp. While global warming and financial meltdown might feel like modern day horsemen of the apocalypse, Simms shows how such end of the world scenarios offer us the chance for a new beginning.
